i have got an automatic top-up with a floater and a power controller box to switch my pump on and off. My problem is that this box doesn't work anymore. Is anyone could tell me how to replace it. i haven't any knowledge about electricity but after surfing the net I think I need a wallwart and other things. Do you think I could make that controller. Help!!!!

The 'controllers' are ususally nothing more than a relay (available from RadioShack) to switch the pumpon/off, and the wallwart to power the relay using low voltage. If you have the float switch(s) the existing controller is easily replaced.
Can you get a couple of pics of it and it's innards? From there I should be able to draw you up plans for an easy replacement/repair.

I just ordered everything I need to replace the switch from the top-up, I decided to replace the relay. I Will have to work out with wire (neutral or live) go where.
