Mounting LED light options

I have (2) 18 inch AcanLighting 600 series lights. I need to mount them on a 36 inch wide tank, which leaves no room for the standard mounting hardware, any suggestions???

Can you post picture or paste a link. Hard to tell what your dealing with. I've been fabricating for 28 years so lets get our heads together

Assuming that you'd prefer not to hang them, something you might look into is seeing if the threading on the legs is a standard thread. If so, you might find some locally obtained hardware that will allow the two units to be bolted together in the middle, and then use the standard legs on the ends. If I recall correctly, some are threaded one way, and some another, so that could complicate things though.

I have to call Acan to get some lights coming today, I'll ask them if they've heard of any novel solutions for this mounting situation.

The whole intent is to have something that looks great, since I have gone through the trouble of good equipment, plumbing the system, and taking things slow as I setup this new tank. I appreciate any help and or suggestions.

Easy dude !! All ya need to figure out is if you want to hang em from the ceiling or mount on the tank ? If you want to have em on the tank we can bend up some tube and make a nice bracket that each fixture screws into a mounting plate. If you want to hang from the ceiling we could do an easy mounting rack. That is how I did all my AI's. Think on it and let me know. The charge would be 0 and I have a complete fab shop and machine shop at my disposal.

I prefer to mount the lights on the tank either bolting the bracket to the back of the stand or some other way. since the tank is in my main living area of the house, the nicer the better, to keep my wife at bay. lol

Hmmm, how about a bracket that mounts to the wall and the lights are suspended over the tank ? They would look like they're floating in thin air ? Food for thoughts is all
