protein skimmer not skimming

I have a seaclone 100 protein skimmer that does not skim. My tank has been up and running since October and the skimmer has been running the whole time. I think it has had more than enough time to break in. What should I do?

the seaclone is a tough cookie i had one and it would work and it then it wouldn't ...do you have it as a hang on or in a sump?

make sure your sponge is clean and you will have to adjust the air intake, I agree they are hit and miss as far as consitency in working
