View Full Version : Wire connection options for DIY LEDs

I would like to be able to disconnect the hood from the remotely located drivers. So, I'm wondering if I can use RCA cables on the + and - wires running between the diodes and the drivers? If not what type of connectors should I use?

The wiring is 18 gauge on the DIY LED set up and the RCA cables I have is 16 gauge. Would that be a problem?

If I need to provide additional info... please let me know.

Another option might be a molex wiring harness.

Thanks for the input. Those would work. I just am not sure what type I need (there seems to be a lot of varieties). I also happen to have all of the RCA cable stuff laying around.
