De or SE bulbs

What would everyone recommend for my 45 gallon corner tank that is 25 inches tall. I have committed to get a 250 watt but debating de or se. Any pro's or con's?

Personally, my biggest issue with the DE over the SE bulbs is the costs of the ballasts needed to fire them and the costs of the bulbs. $25 for a 250/400w SE ballast vs $150ish for DE HQI ballsts.

The DE are nice since they take up a smaller amount of space.
