Are you looking for a hang-on or a sump style skimmer?

I dont know if my sump has the space for a sump style, I would prefer sump style.
This is how my wet/dry looks http://www.petsolutions.com/Pro+Clear+Aquatics+Wet+Dry+Filters-I-85071275-I-C-101877-C-.aspx
So I guess let me know if I can fit it in there.

The biggest most well designed possible. I have a skimmer rated for a 150+(ASM GX1 recirc) on and will be adding ozone soon(should also enhance skimmer efficiency).

 :pukeleft: :pukeright: Not Good.
Check out the Coralife Super Skimmer. I have one on my 55G and it does a great job at a reasonable price.
The best would be a Deltec but it would kill your wallet. ;)

What's your price range your looking to spend. Most people don't know that Euro-Reef has an entry-level skimmer so they can compete with ASM's lower prices.I own an ER CS5-2,I bought it a little over a yr ago for $190 and it is just awesome.I pull 16oz of brown skimmate a day from it in my 40gal.I also have an ASM G-2 that uses the same Sedra3500 pump and the ER smokes it IMO in performance. Not that ASM isn't a good skimmer, they are.Its just the G2 uses a larger diameter body than the CS5-2 as well as its neck/throat design isn't as well designed compared to the ER CS5-2.If you put a Sedra5000 on the G2,i think it would be comparable IMO.I will give props though to ASM's design features that allow you to easily remove the cup as well as throat/body.ER uses a union to remove the cup so it take a little longer to remove it than ASM's design.

Spookey, sea clone's aren't the best but there are some mods u can do to them to improve them.IMO,I would go with one of the skimmers mentioned in this thread.

Do the mods. help reduce the micro bubbles? That's the biggest problem I've had with this skimmer. Thinking of replacing it with a Aqua C EV180.
