Im having a problem where I have micro bubbles (I mean tiny tiny) bubbles floating around, I heard that having this stresses the more sensitive fish species also it makes the tank look dirty but I can asure you guys its not debris because if I turn off the pump they start to rise slowly slowly.

are you getting it from the return or the skimmer where are they coming from???

I honestly dont know, I dont have a skimmer installed yet. I think they were because of the flow coming back to my wet/dry it would hit the water to hard cause bubbles and the pump would return it. But I added a small large grain filter under the bio balls so that wont happen. I also fully submerged the pump to make sure the intake isnt getting any chance at grabbing air.

The microbubbles are a nuissance to us,they don't stress fish/inverts though.A few baffles positoned in the sump can help redirect the flow allowing the bubbles a chance to rise to the surface and pop.Another thing that works is positioning the pump so it is as far away as possible from the overflows output. An elbow fitting can be put on the pumps intake, the elbow will allow the pump to pick water up off of the very bottom of the sump where there aren't as many bubbles at.

Thanks for the tip Dave, Im going to go out soon to the store to get a fitting to get the pump to grab water lower, I heard it stresses fish, but if you say no thats good enough for me.

I have that same problem with my skimmer. Stupid bubbles, I can't run my skimmer 24/7 like I want/need to.
