I had a room added to my house just for the tank and equipment. The tank is viewable from the living room side only. Lighting is eight maxspec mazarra p series LEDs, filtration consists of a100 gallon refugium in a Rubbermaid stock tank and a 100 gallon sump in a Rubbermaid stock tank as well as a bubble king 400 external skimmer. I also tied in a 40 gallon breeder as a frag tank.

Natural sea water IMO is the best if you have access. I used dead Marco rocks and dead sand. I obtained 4 cups of sand from 4 different established tanks. The tank cycled in 11 days!!! No livestock lost and I've been running four months almost. I currently have 18 fish, 15 pieces LPS and about 50 SPS frags, and a bubble tip anemone.

Great build thread! If you have some more pics (closeups of the back room equipment and one showing the dimensions of the tank, I'd like to see it. Very cool!!
