I added some mangroves to the fuge today. From what I have read and been told they do a good job of removing No2 and No3. I personally have not used them and was wondering if I could get some feedback from anyone who is using them or has and what was or is the outcome. I am planning to get more of them but wanted some feedback before spending the cash to do this. Tx. :oldman:
The title should have been using em, not upswing. My dang spell check is driving me nuts !

I've got 3 of them growing out of the back of my biocube. Although I haven't tested my water in a long time, I've have no issues with algae since they started growing. I don't run a skimmer and do a water chance about once a month. So I think they do a pretty good job.

Well that sounds like they work pretty well to me! You have that thing packed and no skimmer ! Very impressive. Thanks for correcting the spell check issue for me too Jim.
