Question , I have a quietone 4000 I want to make a manifold for my tank 125gal aga not drilled the manifold will have 6 outlets two will be submerge, I want to add a SWCD do you think this pump can handle that, I do not want to drill the tank so it going to be over the top, and do anyone know how to stop these pumps from leaking?

Yes,you can always stop a leak just so long as it is at the fittings on the intakes/output.However,the QO4000 is no where near strong enough to do a closed loop IMO.If you want to have 6 outputs, you need roughly 300gph per outlet so that outs you at 1800gph.As for the squid,I would advise against useing one. They put alot of headpressure on your pump and your flow will be reduced dramatically.Whoyah recently installed a CL on his tank and i believe he ended up removing the squid. If you only want to do a dual output CL or if you want to use the squid only, then the QO4000 would do the job.Otherwise, your gonna need at least a 2000gph pump to run an over the top closed loop with a manifold.
