Rebuilt my computer last weekend. Updated to an AMD 3800+ X2 Dual Core with a new Asus A8N-SLI board and 2GB's of Corsair Ram. :D

Now, Latest additions to the reef........I was in a LFS that I had never been to the other day when I found these sexy "Naked False Percs" and they were mispriced very low. $21.99 each instead of $34.99 each they were supposed to be. I grabbed 2 of them and plan to mate them. They are together in my fuge right now. I'm giving them some time to get used to the water and am going to add a new anemone just for them. I'll let them get used to the new anemone in the fuge since it's much smaller and gives a better chance that they will go to it. Once they establish themselves in the anemone I plan to move the clowns and the anemone into the display tank at the same time. Before that can happen I have to trap my Gold Stripped maroon and get her & her anemone moved to my wife's tank.

So, Gawk away at the incredible nakedness of these beautiful Clownfish. :)

Then today I was in a LFS and was only the weekend guy there working. I saw a beautiful Goby that was marked as a Red Barred Goby. Looked alot like a Randall's Goby. I asked the guy working if that was a "Red Barred Goby" because it's stripes were orange and not red, He said it was. He also said it was $19.99. I bought it. I have googled "Red Barred Goby" and find nothing that looks like this guy but the Randall's Goby looks exactly like this one and it sells for $49.99 most places. Did this guy make a mistake and I found another great deal? All in one weekend?? Here is a pic of the Goby in question.

I've got a Randall's Goby in one of my 120s. They're not $50 fish though. I think I paid $20-$25 for it. Pair it up with a pistol shrimp. Mine's got two shrimp that it hangs out with.

The one I got is 4-5" including his tail. The compartment next to the one this guy was in said "Randall's Goby $49.99" I assume due to the size.

He's a big one and looks just like yours in the pic. Must me a Randall's and Not a Red Barred as he was marked. I'm thinking maybe he jumped compartments. They are open top.

I hate my yellow watchman......it's the most skittish fish I have even owned......if you flip on the lights, walk past the tank, etc....just about so anything.......it dives into the burrow.......

I should have got another high fin or something......it would stay outside no matter what (actually was able to clean the glass and didn't scare him) and as such the pistols would keep working and doing cool stuff.......

It's confirmed. I talked with the owner of the store and was telling him about me buying the Red Barred Goby. I told him it didn't look like any Red Barred Gobys I can find on the web but it DID look like all the Randall's. I told him it was in the compartment marked "Red Barred Goby" for $19.99 and that I even asked the weekend guy if thats what it was and her said yes.

He told me I just got one **** of a deal. I told him I feel bad about it and asked what I owed him for the difference. He said don't worry about it. He said I didn't even want to know what the Goby I got was worth. Told me to keep it and be happy that I got such a great deal.

He led me to believe that the poor weekend guy may not have a job although he didn't say that because they also had a Blue stripped Clown with a RBTA....I asked about the RBTA and was told by the owner that he would not split them up and wanted $100 for the fish and the nem. Apparently, The weekend guy sold just the anemone after I left the store that same day so the owner is pretty hot with him about both issues.

I sure got a beautiful Randall's Goby out of the deal. 2 great finds in one weekend! I sould have played the lottery! ;)

Went driving today with the family and shopped 3 of our local fish stores. The same LFS that I got my first 2 naked clownfish from (3 if you count the toally naked one that died on the way home) had some more!

They had 4 total and 3 of them had some markings like the 2 I have in the pics above but the 4th one was (gasp) Totally Naked! I had to have him/her!

So if you are squemish, easily offended or just don't like aquatic porn then don't look!

Comments welcomed. :)

Well, Lost toally naked guy #2!

The damn cleaner wrasse harrased the little guy so bad till he dove into the Carpet anemone and was so stressed he could not free himself. Before the carpet anemone could eat him I rescued him. I placed him in the fuge and held the little guy in my hand for about a half hour until he passed. He actually died in my hand. Ever seen a grown man cry? I did. Not because of the $30 I lost but because I really loved the little guy.

I am not getting any more naked clowns until that blasted Wrasse is out of my tank! The carpet Anemone is gone today as I sold it to my mother. I am getting a 7-8" sebae anemone tomorrow for my semi naked clowns. No More Carpets for me and never again will I have a Cleaner wrasse!

I won't kill the wrasse when/if I can catch it even though I would love to....I just can't do that to an animal but I will make sure whoever gets him knows his attitude.

My wife told me I should let the carpet anemone eat the clownfish after he died but I could not stand the thought of it. He has a nice plot of ground in our nicest flower bed where the Red Fern Grows.
