water purification

I just got a 6 stage ro/di, I hate it already. The directions were horrible, and Im trying to sell it. Is there any other way to purify my tap water? I don't even care about price any more. I just want to basically lower my nitrates with the least amount of complications.

what is complicated about the rodi???? maybe we can simplify it for you, the one I bought was actually suprisingly easy to install.

The directions are just rediculous. Heres an example... it says, insert the RO membrane, it is sealed in a airtight bag. Doesn't say what the membrane is and doesn't say what to insert it in. I figured out that much but its just complicated. I dont think I'm that into this hobby that I want to turn it into a second job. I might just try boiling water and then aging or I may just buy distilled water.....either way this sucks.
