MicroBubles questions

I was curious if it "normal" to have micro-bubbles in your refugium. I have been watching this closely and I don't see any so far in my main tank. I can see them moving around in my refugium. I have adjusted water gates and my skimmer intank to try and cut down, but it appears no matter what I do there is the same amount of micro bubbles in there.

All that is in the Ref right now is mud/sand and some LR. Plants will be put in next week so I was also curious if that would cutdown on microbubbles as well.
