ive known tom for a while now. always a very nice guy and always speaks the truth. i saw his tank in person for the first time this weekend . pics do no justice, i was at his house for well over an hour looking at his tank and im sure i didnt see it all. even my girlfriend who isnt too into the hobby was entertained the enitre time we were there. this is the best tank i have ever seen online and obviously the best tank i have ever seen in person.

I started collecting SPS in another tank End of Nov 2012 as I was planning my next build. My orginial plan was to go with a 500 Gallon and turn my dinning room into a fish room. My GF talked me out of it. The current tank was cycled in April and the first SPS went in at the end of July. From a SPS point of view it is about 5 months old.

This is the kind of reef tank I am aiming for. Utterly amazing. What kind of lighting/flow do you use? And, wondering, just how many years has it taken you to get your tank with that much growth? Truly remarkable. Your SPS is amazing. Your fish are gorgeous. This tank is the reason I got into the hobby, to make something like that. Hopefully I can come close. :)

The project is on hold right now. I wanted to see how the lights on the frag tank do. For example I notice there is too much red and green in that build. I need to swap them out with UV and 4k. So when I am done making changes and see good growth can color I will continue based on that design.. The computer is done which is very cool. I'm thinking during the summer or fall.

Id like to note the tank just turned 1 year old. I started collecting SPS in Nov 2011 mostly 1" or less frags. Those were grown under leds in a 90 gallon grow out system and moved to the 320G Aug 2012

Here is a video of some of the frags 2/2012. I did score a few large colonies or larger frags but the Growth of all corals have been profound.

Wow! Cool underwater shots. With the exception of one pavona, I haven't been able to keep any SPS alive longer than 2 weeks, and most die within a few days. Great to see such a nice SPS tank.
