RO/DI Question

I am interested in purchasing this RO/DI unit.

Can somone tell me at the bottom there which of the 2 is the best/easiest to install for the feed devices?

There are 2 different Feed Water Devices:
Regular: 1 x 1/4" Needle Valve

or Option A: 1 x Chrome 3/4" Tee with 1/4" Ball Valve

Buyers can select one of two adaptors, only.

That one will do you a good job its about the same as the most of us
hear have.

as to which is easier...neddle valve ruins thr pipe easy but if you ever need to move it then there is a holein your pipe not good.....the tee is not destructive but wher you locate it is limited to where you an get to a pipe with threads.

Simple fix... If you need to relocate the RO/DI later just close the old saddle valve down and buy a new one :) (call it making ready for future expansion should another tap be needed right there)

The saddle valves are the easiest to set up most of the time, so long as you are dealing with copper or pvc pipe to tap. Funny pipe is NOT a good thing to tap for a saddle.... there's an old thread on here somewhere that explained that lesson.

What does funny pipe look like and I think, but not 100% sure of my pipes. Will check when I get home, but I already have a single filter hooked to my kitchen sink to remove the chorline and other things from the water.

Funny Pipe is the black somewhat flexible pipe, it's not commonly used in homes up north, but is used for livestock and such, but down south it's quite commonplace in houses.
