What could it have been?

I was looking at my tank tonight,(like always), And I just happen to notice what looked like a worm or arm about an inch long come out from under a rock and grab a peice of seaweed and pull it under the rock. Does anyone know what it may have been? Sorry no pics, I barely got to see it before it was gone. Best description is about an inch long, what I could see of it. It looked more like a jagged arm than a worm with legs and it was clear to white to gray in color. What really confused me was the fact that it grab a good size peice of seaweed, about the size of a dime, and pulled it under the rock. Any guesses would be appreciated.

i would guess brittle star... i was thinking bristle worm until you siad that it had grey on it... i think brittle star
