No it will just count down the 1:30 and then take best available. after two countdowns the auto draft takes over.

Auto-draft doesn't do the best for either side ;) But, life makes it difficult to get everyone in front of a computer at the same time.

Perhaps it will be time for a trade in the future. It was a decent defense that the auto-pick actually took three in a row from me on! :P It's also because I waited too long to grab a defense.

Two points to share...

1) I'm not one to brag at any point before a decent mid-season standing, but let me just share that Yahoo gave me a D on draft day and said that I had the worst draft in the league (basically said I had no chance)! In case you haven't seen, while it is only week one (and it's not looking like it will make a difference, but there is still the second half of the last Monday night game left), I am the leader in points this week. :)

2) More importantly...I drafted two star quarterbacks...and I always (proven in past years) select the wrong one for the particular week. This week continues that trend; P. Manning - 28.46 points, M. Stafford - 36.04. Oy! The two are difficult to choose from.

Never before have I been in such a cutthroat battle for the win. The lead kept bouncing back and forth between myself and Russell until Gronkowski finally connected for a touch down in the 4th quarter of Monday night football, giving him the narrow lead. This happened, of course, right after I said, "as long as they don't give Gronk the ball, I win this week."

Ahh...I see why you are frustrated. Andy had a chance to knock Russell down this week, but he left his defense empty. This is a league for fun though...nothing to get stressed about. It's more frustrating when someone completely takes the challenge away mid-gameday...trust me. Not sure what's got you heated, but sounds like you're making something created for enjoyment into unnecessary stress.

If you are referring to me I didn't pick up a defense because I didn't have a roster spot that I was willing to open. I had a lot of players on bye and I didn't want to expose my starters to waivers. I made a calculated call. I figured it was worth potentially losing this week in order to have a winning roster for the remainder of the games. My defense is Detroit. I wasn't going to wave the #1 (http://www.captivereefs.com/forum/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1) d in the NFL. Maybe I mismanaged my bye weeks but I didn't ride the week without a defense because I don't care. I made as many moves as I could to try and make a run at Russel but I fell a little short. I still intend to win the championship:woohoo:

If you are referring to me I didn't pick up a defense because I didn't have a roster spot that I was willing to open. I had a lot of players on bye and I didn't want to expose my starters to waivers. I made a calculated call. I figured it was worth potentially losing this week in order to have a winning roster for the remainder of the games. My defense is Detroit. I wasn't going to wave the #1 (http://www.captivereefs.com/forum/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1) d in the NFL. Maybe I mismanaged my bye weeks but I didn't ride the week without a defense because I don't care. I made as many moves as I could to try and make a run at Russel but I fell a little short. I still intend to win the championship:woohoo:
