I'm going to get back to getting my diy refugium assembled and was wondering what size pump to use on it. 16x5x12 Ihave an old maxijet 1200 off a seaclone skimmer, would that work? or do i want slow flow

Are you asking what size return pump would be suggested?? If so what size and how many returns and drains are you think inking? Are you doing a basement sump? If so what size pipe and how much height? If nota basement then how tall will your DT be above the sump?

I think an mj1200 may be to much flow. Between cleanings I'll run a 600 and I need to turn it down a bit.
My HOB fuge is 19x4x11.
