foot print ASM G2?

I am day dreaming about a skimmer upgrade the ASM G2 or ASM G3 or ASM G-1x looks like a nice economical skimmer, can i fit it in a 7.25"X12" sump compartment? Any thoughts on this skimmer? Recomandations or options? Tank size 55 gal sump is AGA 30 36L X 12.5W 16.5H I don't want to move sump baffles as I have to take tank down to get sump out the back of stand. Current skimmer is CPR Backpak II It works but I am trying to keep an excelent system for my fish and soft corals. Thanks for your thoughts and opinions. How about foot print of ASM G-1x
