I realize that this is not quite saltwater aurarium related but as you will see below saltwater in an aquarium is involved. For those of you out there that are unfamiluar with Amano shrimp. They are freshwater shrimp that spend the larva stage of their life in saltwater.

Here goes.
I have had this particular Amano shrimp about 5 months. I bought her along with about 5 others fro a local fish store and they have been in a 29-gallon well-planted tank. About 5 weeks ago I noticed all the shrimp grouped together in a corner. Then a month ago I one of the females with eggs. Having read about breading and raising Amano shrimp (see link: http://mikes-machine.mine.nu/breeding_yamato.htm), I started preparing.
Set Up
I am diverging from what the guy in that article did, so we will see.
