I just moved back to MI after living in AZ for 8 years. While in AZ I kept a successful mixed reef 90"gallon Oceanic Bow front tank. Reefkeeping in AZ was very difficult. I had no lfs. The nearest lfs was 90 miles away in Las Vegas. I have looking forward to working with lfs an venders since moving back to MI. I just bought a house and I anticipate setting up a new tank with a remote fish room. I'm thinking about a Marineland 250 G DD. of course I will have to order this from a local dealer. When I lived in Detroit before, my go to lfs were Pet Connection in Livonia, Greewood ( both east & west, and Oceans & Seas.). Some of these vendors have closed. I would really appreciate any advice and recommendations on the best lfs and venders to work with
Thanks
Tony

I set up a 210g and bought most of my stuff from the fish doctors in Ypsilanti. Great group of people working there.

You mentioned living in Detroit area before, are you moving back to the same area? Your location this time around will have an influence on the vendors that are recommended.

Theres the Trop, Kee's, I believe oceans and seas is still around, stingray bay, Tropical Treasures, and Great lakes aquarium to name a few off the top of my head. Sorry for any I missed.

Hope you can re-adjust to the climate around here.. I got back from vacationing in Phoenix about a month ago and winter has been brutal.

Pet Suppliers in Highland. Atlantis in Clawson. And all of the aforementioned. (Yes, O&S is still around on Gratiot, south of 696.)
