I have noticed these swimming around in my tank in the morning. They are about 0.7mm long and move via a scissor action of their "tail". Any thoughts?

What inverts you got in your tank? Sort of looks like a Cleaner Shrimp Larvae.

That is a possibility (pretty cool if it is the case). I have two cleaner shrimp, an unidentified clam, and the usual little guys (amphipods, bristile worms, and who knows what else is in the gravel). I would have expected to have seen some sort of limbs on shrimp larvae, like you would see on brine shrimp nauplii.
I am surprised that the fish aren't gobbling them up, maybe it is just too early for them.
