Say is the Reef fairy came to you and said she (assuming that the fairy is a lady) would give you any three critters for your tank what would you pick???
my top 3 would be:
1. purple people eater zooanthids
2. japanese acan lords
3. AOI zooanthids
but I am sure if you ask me tomorrow that list would change.
what would you choose???

i would want BIGGER tanks for less $$
All the corals i could want
and someone to do all the maintainance on the tanks for me.
but seriously, all i really want is ... a large pink birdsnest, some ricordias, and some of the rare stuff David Jones has.

it is always funny to see these threads. tyree always shows up some where down the line. To be honest most of the stuff he gets is not to uncommon. He just got a wholesalers liecence and went and cherry picked stuff from LA. I am not saying he is a bad guy in any way. Matter of fact he is really smart and has found a nitch in this hobby but I think that his repution for having the rarest corals is a little blow out of parpotion. The funny part about his whole situation is it is starting to have a backlash effect. For instance the wholesaler I use will not allow any one to come and cherry pic. Which has givin me a whole new prospective on what is rare and what is a fad.for instance the watermelon challice and the "purple monster" are actually quiet common and avalble if requested. the only difference is tryee got a color that colored up faster/better. the purple monster that I have actually grows quiet fast and I only paid $25 for a coral, not a frag. As time progresses and wholesalers start to relise that people won't deal with them because of all the cherry pickers, i feel that Tyree nich will slowly fade away. I do like him as a person he is always nice respectful and goes the extra mile to help some one out. I would really encorage anyone in this hobby to work in a petstore that sells saltwater corals/fish and lets you do the orders it would really change the way you view the trends in the hobby.

I'd have a tank cleaning system that is totally automated...cleans the glass, water changes & topoffs, stocks just the right fish & coral, feeds everything including the ones I prefer hand fed, and last but not least, look like a showcase tank all the time..... Last but not least, to never have salty dry skin, or walk around with wet sleeves & armpits ever again!! I think I used up all 3, don't you?
PS. Can you tell I did some water changes this weekend? Fun, fun!

I guess I should have been more clear the Tyree site. Either way it is a good site and he is a nice person to deal with. I have nothing bad to say about the guy. If you want to know where the purple monster comes from it is a figi Aqua culture acro.
I like mutts wishes better than mine you crack me up. LOL

Aww Mutts...you cheat! You used my wish, and I had to type all that out! Smart move though. I'd like to add your wish to mine to, but the tank has to be around 300g! :fishbowl2: :p

....and Greg, I have a feeling you can relate to the salty armpit thing huh? It's oh so true though. Half the time if no ones around, I take my top off and work in the buff. It ends the soaked clothing, but not the salty arm pits! Here's a good pit drying technique! :hello1:Those get raw and chaffed if you leave that salt under them. Make sure you moisturize!!
                                             ....Angel :angel2:
