Here is the results of relocating the contents of a 55 into a 180 tank. Now we have a ton of extra real estate to stretch out, looks way too empty...

Dang... where's the reef(remember the old commercial for Wendy's with the granny???)?. I see some serious potential, followed by bankruptsy.

hahaha, first critter order went in yesterday, but we are ALWAYS open for donations! Tell you what if we get enough donations to FILL it, then I'll spring for yet a larger tank to start collecting again :P

I'm sure we won't have any trouble filling it right up in very short order, especially with all of the trades and stuff we're already lining up for as soon as the weather turns back around. At the rate we seem to be doing things, Repto could be right, a Chapter 13 could be following shortly :D Don't think anyone can repo coral

Geez would you believe there is over 100lbs of rock in there now? I think we could double the amount and not really have it show much. Cool thing is that some of the base rock (light weight very porous lace rock) is already starting to house critters and coraline. Can't wait to get the new lighting going to see how much we can accelerate the coraline growth. Waiting on the LFS shop to restock to get another 50-100lbs to add to it. Though my agrocrete rocks are doing fantastic too, most of it is hard to tell wehter it was purchased LR or agrocrete. It's just the super long curing time for it that is a pain.

Well there is about 40lbs of agrocrete rock in there now..... took 2 months before the PH stabilized to safe levels.

Looks like a great start! Hard to believe that there are 100lbs of rock in there now. I ran into the same thing with my 220g tank. Put in 150lbs of rock, and said "hmm... time for another trip to the store." Sounds like you're going to have a real work of art in a short time. Nice!

Actually after re-adding what all has been added to the tank there is actually well over 150lbs of rock in there now, Angel is the aquaterior decorator, I tend to just make big piles, i just donlt have the knack to make it look presentable, think I'll stick to the behind the scenes stuff.

Thanks, it's making us happy, think thats the most important part. But yup, we've been planning a 'get together' for what a month or so now? One of these days we'll get it all worked out I'm sure.

Thanks Honey for remembering that I aquascape, maintain and feed our babies in there. The rock from the 55G really did help our cause in there. Can't wait til we get all the new surprises we picked out. Tuesday or Wednesday...... fun stuff! I'm headed to bed. It really late here. G'night to all! :D
