My BRS RO/DI 75 GPD filter froze in the garage over the winter with water in it and practically every part that held water burst. I replaced all the canisters but this little plastic piece that's male threaded on both sides that connects the canisters to each other is impossible to find! They have it in brass at Home Depot but I want a plastic exact replacement. Where could I find one near Kalamazoo, MI? Or I'll order online if I have to.

You may need to order it online. Contact the manufacturer or check out a CR sponsor.

Try this place:
Wagner Plumbing & Heating Supply A Ferguson
409 E Kalamazoo Ave
Kalamazoo MI 49007
(269) 349-6608

I've had luck finding hard to find plumbing parts there.

Best of luck,
Chris

I believe the correct term for that fitting is a "threaded male pipe nipple".

I can't tell the size from the photo...possibly 3/8-inch (assuming its not metric).

I good hardware store should be able to hook you up.

A lot of Lowes and Home Depots have that 1/4" MIP x 1/4" MIP nipple on the wall where they have all their flare, compression and speed fittings in the plumbing area. It can be nylon, ABS or PVC as long as it is not metal.
