ID?

Hey, here I am again asking what kind of coral I got myself. It is an SPS, thats all I know. Let me know what ya think!

looks to be some type of millipora give a picture of when it is closed or a closer picture for a more accurate ID

Looking at the base it looks like a softy to me..But hard to see much detail

I was told it was an sps frag... they had the mother coral there and the guy told me what it was called but I didn't remember by the time I got home. I will post a hopefully better picture tomorrow.

Don't feel alone.... halt of the time whatever 'they' said it's name was... it turns out they were wrong anyhows. ;)

Actually I havn't seen one for a while but that could be a brown hydnophora. When you touched the coral was it hard or fleshy and soft?

I dont think that is hyndo, I have hyndo look at the base of it. looks like a type of Pavona to me

I can't get a better picture, it seems hard but I don't want to hurt it. In real life the 'fur' is a greenish color and they don't go in... this little thing has me confused... I think it is happy at least...

Is it soft, bendable, reddish in color....does it seem to quiet itself during the daytime, and then seem to perk up and appear to be stronger and happier in the night? I'm curious because I have a "Red Chili" that reminds me a bit of what you have there. Just a thought!
