I found this on my xenia frag, it's been looking bad the last couple days. I inspected it and this is what I found. Does anyone know what it is?? It was really hard to get a good pic of it...

I found another in my other xenia frag after it totally destroyed it. I did some more research and from the pics I have seen, I'm thinking it is a syllid worm.<br/>

In what way did this worm destroy your Xenia?

Is your xenia/anthellia totally gone? If not, take it out of the tank and smell it. If it smells rotten, then the worm was likely just eating dying tissue. If smells okay, I would be more apt to suspect the worm was up to no good.

My xenia is totally gone now. I did manage to get the one out of my anthellia. This worm was twice as long as the other two I pulled out but I still can't get a good close up pic
