mystery crab

so i spotted a little hitchhiker crab in my rocks, maybe the size of a dime including legs, looks to be off white/tan colored, tried to grab it with tweezers, and there is no way im getting him, from what i can see his pincers look pointy but cant get a good look, havent seen him before and never seen on the corals..... cant get a pic he wont come outta the rock..... googling images now, but any ideas ????

Without a pic, pretty hard to guess. But to be one the safe side I'd try an trap it. Most hitchhiker crabs are not good.

thinking maybe a porceline crab

One way to tell for sure is...the Porcelain Crabs pincers have flat tips...where's most flesh eaters have pointed.
