I have a moonlight strip mounted in my canopy, I woke up to finding out it fell into the water during the night, I pulled it out immediately. The lights came on finding out that a few SPS frags are bleached out and some colonies do not look so hot yet still have color to them. I know something happened to the tank, whether it was a electric current running through the water or copper deposits from a connection point. Is there anything I can do? Has anyone experienced this?

I would run some fresh carbon and do a water change as a precaution, especially if corals continue to look worse.

I second the water change, it doesn't take much exposed copper in a saltwater environment to have an effect.

I did a 20% water change yesterday. I am going to do another today. It's literally just all my sps (besides birdnest)
