I just bought some LR from a LFS and it has some manjo or those other ones " cant' spell it asptia maybe lol" I was wondering what is the best thing to do to get rid of them before I put them into my main tank? The rock was out of the water for about two hours. For the ride home.

You can try boiling water a viniger together and putting that on it, or a pepermint shrimp... there are tons of other ways also, so I'm sure someone else will offer some other ways

i have a copperband butterfly that tears them up, but i dont recommend that route. like Amanda said, you could try that method or you could just go get some "JOE'S Juice". or you could just shoot them up with liquid calcium, but this method depends on your tank size. if you have a "smaller" tank, it could raise your calcium level, and knock your cal & alk levels off. so i would test the parameters before and after, if you get a big differance do a partial water change. i used this method before i got the copperband butterfly. but i got the fish cuz i liked him, and got lucky on the aptasia eating.

I had a bit of a problem with them after I aded LR. A peppermint shimp is the best I can recomend.
You can make a Lime paste to burn them out, but this can fall and land on anything under them.
You can uses 'Joes Juice' or just Lemon Juice, an inject then wit a hypodermic needle, but this can be difficult, as the Manjo, and Astpia will retrack, and can be hard to inject if they are thin.
The copperbanded will eat them, but leaves you with another fish in the tank and increased bio-load when the job is done.
The peppermint, probably eats a little slower (Mine knocked off one or two a night) but the shrimp is less of a load on the tank than the fish. Just make sure you get one from an LFS you can trust, not one who might try to pass off a Camelback, or some other similar looking shrimp which will not do the job. Peppermints usually run about 9 dollars around here, so it is a pretty affordable solution.

I've used the Joe's Juice with good success.

Use Joes Juice on Mojano? Can you really do that? Are there other ways to get rid of mojano?

Lime paste, if you can get them....
Peppermint shrimp....
Joes Juice/ Lemon Juice if you can stick them.
I have found them to be too thin to stick with a neddle effectivly...

I take a little frozen mysis and thaw some out.I then use the juice/water that collects in the dish and mix it with kalk/pickling lime.It should be a thick yet still liquid paste. Then draw it up in a syringe without a needle.Ever so slowly approach the aptasia/mojano until your a couple inches away, then gently squirt a little of the mixture on it.Most of the time,it will swallow it because of the mysis flavor,LOL.
I've had about a 90% success rate killing them this way.

I had four of them in my tank and bought one peppermint shrimp from petsolutions. It ate all but one that keeps hiding in a rock. He's cleaning them up well though.
