I was trying to get some ideas of additives to use in my tank. I would like to use to simplest way. If there is a all in one that someone would knows about that I can start using.

Also is there a type of food you like also.

Has anyone ever used "Purple Up"

you will get mixed results with this. I myself try to add as little as possible to the tank. I dose very little strontium and myoblium (hope I spelled right) I do this for my clams. other than that I dose nothing.

and as for food. I use flake and a home made "mush" consisting of: clams, scallops, cyclopeeze, oystereggs, nori and some vitamin supplements

I run a CA reactor so I don't add anything other then my usual water change. But I am beginning to start to add potassium to my tank. I am waiting for my test kit to come in before I start to dose it. Zeovit is sold out at the moment.
