Hi everyone. I have a Digital Aquatics reef keeper with SL2 module on it. I calibrate probe with 53.0 mS conductivity solution then i used solution to calibrate my Vertex refractometer to 35.0 ppt, this is crossover conversion. So now both are calibrated to the same level. DA now says 45.5mS,29.5ppt(corals looking sluggish thats why i recalibrated) and then Vertex says 60mS,40.5ppt. How can they be calibrated to same then one test high and one test low. Any ideas out there? im wondering if i need to replace probe.
53mS=35.0ppt=1.0259SG

I have never used a conductivity probe in salt water (or using a ReefKeeper), but I have used them for sampling lakes and streams. When calibrating in addition to hitting calibrate the is a value (calc constant) that will tell you if the probe is shot. Does the ReefKeeper display calc constant #?
