Is there a modification for mounting a Seio? The mounts that come with them don't offer the very much flexibility. I would like them mounted a little lower in the tank, and it seems the only way to do this is to use the suction cups(we all know they stay put). HELP!!;)

yep !! and it works like a charm. the mag float is not modified though. the seio 1500 is just simply super glued to the intank side of it. if you do this just make sure to let the glue cure for at least 24 hours. i waited 48 hours just to be safe. you can pull the seio out of the tank without problems and it wont move from where you place it. so i guess you get great support and ease of movement for cleaning. now that i did this i will never buy another "specific" magnet holder for any powerhead.

Those nemodium oxide magnets in the large MagFloats are unreal, even through 9/16" of glass it will hold a 1500, i'd have to guess it would stand up to the torque a 2600 at that angle as well.

The only other option we've used with the Seios was to bury the powerhead in rock work. One of these days I'll get around to making some 'special' agrocrete rocks for them, similar to the Tunze system type, minus the pricetag.
