yeah fiend, my wife is the same way !! why is that "filter" (it really an overflow) so noisey ?? she means no harm or disrespect though, she is just trying to learn why i love this hobby so much. now that she has her own tank she kinda understands more.

I was referring to my rediculous flow rates through my 25g nano.... pushing close to 700gph though the 10g sump/fuge now makes a tremendous racket!

What do you see in the player window? Does it remain black or displaying the word loading? How long did you give it for the video to start? Are you using dialup or a broadband connection?

Pretty typical huh? Answering a question with half a dozen more.

no dialup. it is black and says its loading but i can hear it, i have waited to see if it plays when it says click to play and it stll won't

Okay, try this for me.... under the black box is a link "http://s4.photobucket.com/albums/y132/graphixx22/tank%20pix/100_1480.flv" Save the file to your machine and try to play it that way... should take around 6-7 minutes to download over dialup.

You may be missing a plugin for your browser. Seems odd that you are getting the sound but not the video stream.

I converted an entire bedroom into a frag room. so its not that bad noise wise. but when you combine the cooling fans of 4 MH lights with the return pumps flowing to 4 grow tanks and then I have a HUGE house fan in the room also to keep the temps down, yeah its a little loud. But like I told Bobby .... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAAHHHHHHHH Renee, I am like you . I love the sound of my display tank in the family room. I can hear it from the bedroom. its soothing to me. but I dont know about the grow room. it is quite loud!!!!
