Well,we we're driving back home from the annual thanksgiving family PITA dinner and Mrs Binford brings up the tank and how she has been finding Aptasia more and more lately. She was going on about how the fuge was pretty clean of them now that she added the emerald (yikes her area now) crabs and cleaner shrimp. But she was still getting them. Even a few days after zapping them with Aptasia X, Of course I just told her that glass anemone's or aptaisa is just one of those pests you have to deal with from time to time and she pretty much does all she can do to control them! Listen up guys!! If your wife's a reef geek do not give that response,it will only make the long drive even longer!!! And cause a massive migraine. So when I got home after the several hour butt chewing about how she does all the hard stuff and I get to do the fun stuff!! Yup she went there even! So I got off my duff and started looking for the problem, and man this was a problem! If you have an overflow with Stanford pipes and Aptasia. You might want to look in the there often!! Unlike me I waited 28 months and let's just say the following pictures are not for the person with a weak stomach. Not as creepy as crabs but pretty close!! :propellerhead:

Notice this is after removing the Stanford pipes and scraping most of the box

Not as gross as CRABS !!!! But man the tank is back to being silent and if she ever stops saying I told you so ! The house would be silent too! We did a water change and zapped what Aptasia was in the tank. I will be changeing filter socks daily for a few days to ensure we get the really small polyps the anemones spit out to spread.
