So like many others I had taken a break from the hobby, But I could only hold out for so long. I recently picked up a 25gl I decided to scale back in an effort to minimize some of the costs. So far its got sand and water hope to start its cycle soon. Its my first acrylic tank and I decided to go with Leds as well. I am using Ecoxotic stunner strips.
Does anyone have any experience with this product? more specifically the controllers they offer? seems really solid from what I have read so far at a really reasonable cost.

One big difference was that my oldest daughter pushed me to get another tank. She told me that she has always enjoyed the tanks we have had in the house through the years. As a result this tank is a team effort. And tonight I had her do the rock landscape. What does everyone think?

Nice looking set up. I like the scape... Lots of swimming space. What's the team going to stock the tank with?

I'm not sure but I bet jimsflies can fix it.

I've seen images rotate on occasion. Unfortunately, the only fix is to re-upload it after rotating it in a photo editor.
I fixed it for you. :)

I have used. The stunners for years. I run six of the 454nm UV units between my 6 AI's. Work very well with the reflectors And they light up a 48x36 footprint by themselves which I find impressive because they're 14" above the water line!

Thanks for the feedback Binford I accidentally disliked the post. The tank currently has 2 white/blue strips and my plan was to add a 454nm uv unit and then Add the controller I just want to find out a bit more about the contoller before I pull the trigger

NP on the dislike. I have not used their controller tho. Very price friendly units and mine have been running with no issues for about three years.

Yes I agree that it's price friendly and the main reason I am going to give it a shot will provide feedback on how it works

So I decided to go a different direction on the lights, I went with a Current USA orbit marine light with ramp timer pro controller. I was able to fit the 24"-36" model on the tank with 23 watts of power. Currently I am running an acclimation cycle of 70%. So far I am happy with the light and its features. I just hope that the longevity is there. Only time will tell.

Cool looking light man.
Does it progressively get brighter and dimmer when turning on/off?
