I picked up so much coral today, it's ridiculous. I'd love to post up pics, but my camera skills are terrible. I will say thank you Cherry Corals, Classy Corals, and Caviar Corals for all the great pieces!

Last year was my first Lansing Expo. This year had more color and options. Prices were better than I expected! Ofcourse there is still the "rarest" $60/polyp. I took home a few choice finds. I got want I wanted out of it.

RBTA- about 4 inches in diameter for $45. I was stoked to get that!!
Blue Hornets
Red Hornets
A bright yellow zoanthid
yellow ricordia
Blood Shrimp for $16!!! WHAT!!!

I won some pellet food from the raffle. I can't believe I won something! I can't wait for next years already!

I scored quite a few frags and a large acro colony. It was great to listen to Bill from A&M (@AM Aquatics) in the morning and I got to see a lot of my favorite vendors and "internet friends" from the reefing community! A HUGE Thank you to Jim (@jimsflies), MMMC and GRMAS for putting on this event - by far one of the best swaps Ive been to in a long time.

Now for some eye candy:

Check out the bonus acro crab nestled in the bottom!

Theres several more nice pieces I snagged a few that were still closed up last night when the lights went out. Again, fantastic swap - cant wait until the A2Swap!

I won some pellet food from the raffle. I can't believe I won something! I can't wait for next years already!

I was commenting to my wife on the way there that I wouldn't enter the raffle because I have never won anything in a raffle. Since we arrived just before the drawing I decided to toss in a few tickets, and ended up winning the LED light!

So that means I get to set up another tank!

Great time at the swap again this year, thanks for everyone who organized and participated.

It was hard for me to get out and look at all the stuff, as I was working the front door and there were over 500 people that showed up.

I did get a derasa clam, a red sea fan, and an urchin.

I bought a 3 acan, 4 zoas, and 1 favia. The zoas I got are goblin's fire, rastas, fruit loops, and a pink polyp. I think my favorite is a favia I found. Here is a pic of it.

Nice Favia!

Does it have a name so I can try to find one for myself?

Not that I am aware of. I asked the guy selling it about it and all I was told was that it was a Favia.

I believe you are right...the frag plug is heart shaped and FX Charity had a lot of heart shaped plugs. I haven't seen him sign up for Ann Arbor yet.

Your right Jim,

I need to be more observant. LOL

I am too blinded by the beauty of the coral to notice the plug that its on.

Jason told me he wasn't going to make Ann Arbor because its his daughters first birthday.

Not sure. It was a impulsive purchase. I got it from LaBo's Aquatics. I also got that bubbly shroom from him too.

I've never seen a starfish like that either, makes me think it's definitely not reef safe. Let us know how it does and if it eats any coral.
