I started my reef tank in May and it is doing very well. I have a 48" JBJ PC fixture on it and it has 4 65 watt bulbs. My problem is that it doesn't seem to be enought light or intensity to support an Anenome. I was considering a few options. 1st Coralife Aqualight Pro, it has 2 150w HQI and 2 96w PC Actinics for about $672. 2nd Current Outer Orbit, it has 2 150w HQi and 2 130w Actinic for $675. 3rd is the Captive Sun that comes with 2 150w HQi and your choice of PC, VHO or standard bulss for $640 or less. This is all from Marine Depot. Anyone have any suggestions? Also, anyone want to by my current fixture? Thanks in advance.

Chris what are the dimensions of your tank? It seems there are now several variations for depth and such.

My tank is 48 x 18 x 21. A standard Oceanic 75 gallon tank. I'm also looking at the Current SunPod with 2 150w 14k bulbs. Any thoughts.

I could probably hook you up with lighting. I know I've got the SunPods and Outer Orbits on my store, and I can add the Coralife units too, I just haven't gotten around to it.

My store is at www.myreefshop.com

Ive been using the Coral Life HQI with the 2 150w Halides and 2 Actinics and its extremely well made and very worth it imo. Has these fans running that keep it cool, and the light intensity is amazing. Looks good too.

You could also go with a retro kit, they are fairly inexpensive. I got a 3 lamp 250w MH retro for about 330.00 and the lamps were included. I built the canopy and installed them easy enough. They were plug and play, so I didn't have to any wiring. I got them off of ebay.
