Would it be ok to place a small media reactor in my return chamber of my sump? I've really no place else to put one.

I use my return area for a reactor.
I keep the reactor in the return area, but put the pumps in the section before the return, and kinda hang it off the back of the glass divider.

Ok cool. Mine would have to sit entirely in the return chamber, pump and all. Now to find one [emoji3]

I have found it best to put reactors up stream from skimmers. I do this so if the media such as fine carbon or GFO is accidentally discharged it gives the skimmer a chance to help reduce the damage to livestock . If released directly to the return chamber it's really no diffrent then being dumped straight to the DT. Just my .02 tho

Sounds smart Chuck. I'm gonna have to figure it out. Not much room in my skimmer chamber. Maybe mount the reactor above and then the pump would fit.
Now to find a reactor that'll fit-lol. [emoji38]

Well I ordered the Phosban 150 along with some SeaChem SeaGel. Also a Stand alone DI with silica buster resin. That should do the trick right-lol.
