I got free frag of colt coral last night when I purchased a bunch of stuff (pics soon) from a local guy. How's the best way to anchor it in place so it can attach?

We've tried everything with them... so far the best method is to do as peregrinus suggested...then glue/epoxy the gravel/CC it attached to where ever you want it to live. The only other method we've had that worked was to actually sew the frag to a piece of rubble, 50% succes rate for staying put for us sewing them down, they like to split around the thread and go cruising.

IMO, there are several different ways, but the quickest is like this (1 of 2 ways)...#1 drive a toothpick through the colt at the base, put some gel superglue on each end of the toothpic(a bit gobbed works best) and find where you want to anchor the coral and drive the bottom end of the coral where an end of the toothpic is, in a hole on the liverock where you want the coral to attach. #2 set the coral on the LR, where you want it to attach and anchor it there with bridal veil until attached.

Repto,
I am a little fuzzy on the toothpick method. What keep the colt from sliding off the other end of the tooth pick?

Put a gob of superglue (gel works great if you can get it) just above where the toothpick potrudes through the frag will hold him in place.
