Notice the space heaters? Yea, its in the 20s outside, but with those and an insulated garage (not to mention myself in there) the temp was a cozy 59 in there.
Cant really get a go0d pic of the sump, on account of it being clear and all, but here goes.

It will hold roughly 35gal when chambers are filled properly. Total volume of sump is like 65gal, but it will never be filled to the top.

Thankyou for all the compliments. Theres going to be a 75gal tank on top
the sump measures 36" long, 16" deep and roughly 20" tall
as for the wo0d grain .. I like it to0. Funny thing is, its cheap 1/4" thick pine plywo0d. There were some co0ler patterns in another sheet of plywo0d, but I had already cut the do0rs before I noticed it. Oh well, theyll just go on the canopy thats going to be made
The whole thing opens up, theres do0rs on the front and both sides. I got tired of having limited access under my 55, so decided when it was time to upgrade that it would be as open of a stand as possible.

its simple, but it gets the job done. Will take a couple pics with all the do0rs open so you all can see how open and accessible inside the stand is. But I made it all myself, so thats $$$.
On the left side, its sectioned off for my electrical. To keep it away from the water anf salt creep as best as possible. On the right side, is the do0r opening to where the fuge will be.
Next Im going to build a canopy, which will be highly accessible as well ... just wait n see, hehe.
Thanks for all the compliments so far.

after wrestling with the sump for a couple days, I think I got all the leaks sealed, /crosses fingers
the tank is on the stand and the combo is resting in the living ro0m where its home will be.
just waiting overnight on a sump wet test to ensure no more leaks, then tomorrow might be aquarium moving day! Thank god!! going 2 weeks without my tank has driven me insane and made me irritable.
any suggestions for moving an aquarium when its less than 20 degrees outside? heh
