I need a skimmer for a 60g, the foot space in my sump is 8" x 6" with a 20" head clearance, so a HOB might be a better idea? Also, if I decide on a HOB I only have a 6" wall on the sump to work with.

I was thinking the Coralife Super Skimmer 220 would be a good match but I heard they are not very efficient.

Any suggestions on what skimmer to use?

Thanks

Not very efficient my rear end. I have one on my 72 and it pulls all kinds of scum.

Their not efficient bu they work pretty well, and for their price they honestly can not be beat imo. Also I heard you can upgrade them and really get them going. I have one btw and it works very well. Notice like Jojo said the rear end is not really getting action but this also has to do with the water level and finding the "sweet" spot, but this one is very forgiving, skims almost at any level.
