I guess I'm lucky....

My Bangai Cardinals breed. And often. I wasn't ready for the first couple batches, and they became fish food. The third time Mr. Man held eggs, I put him in the fuge. I thought I was ready. He spat about 24-36 babies, most of which, spilled out of the fuge and into the Mag7...once again...fish food.

Now after modifying the fuge with a "baby guard" I have 9 left. I moved them out of the fuge and they've been in a grow out tank for a couple weeks now (they were stripping the fuge of any decent life). They are about 8 weeks old and are about <---THIS---> big. They eat both live baby brine (gut packed with phytofeast and other goodies) and some frozen cyclopeeze/fishmush etc.

I really want to find homes for them. They are living in what is supposed to be a new above tank refugium (all the other parts are just waiting to be installed). Does anyone have any ideas as to how long I should be holding them before they can survive in another's reef?

Once they are able to be sustained on the frozen brine, you should be good to part with them.
