Dosing Kalk quick question.

Hey Guys Back from a small hiatus. Anyways Ive been dosing Kalk in a milk gallon with RO and add about a spoon or two of Kalk. Usually a white bottom layer settles. From what IVe read , Ive heard that Im not supposed to add this part to the tank, just the super saturated top layer. Just want to confirm this.

This is true... you can stir it up into the water column and use what is left. If you have any questions as to the strength, measure the PH of the solution(should be 12 to 12.5).
