I am sure most of you know that I am in the process of opening a wholesale distribution center for corals and fish. We are almost done and will go 100% live the first of the month. We allready have several accounts set up. When done we will have approx 3800 gallons holding fish and corals with room for another 3000 gallons.
While doing this were going to offer stock online as well. I would invite you guys to look at the site and just give me a heads up to what you think of the look and ease of the site.
Now remember I am not a super hacker computer whiz this has been a very slow process but has been fun getting this up and running. So please be gentle. The things that are on the site are available and ready to go and yes those are the prices we will offer them for.
any input is appreciated. the site is www.islandfishandpets.com

Very nice! You will have my business for sure. Easy to navigate. Could you maybe put the size of the animals for sale. For instance i would like some gsp in the near future, how big is a medium sized colony. Other than that i like it.

I second the "listing the size" suggestion, whether it be for fish or coral colonies. You could use app. inches for fish and ball size for corals (up to tennis ball, baseball, softball size, etc.)

I'm really looking forward to your photo documentary of the setup process... sounds cool!

Looks great man. Something I always to check out are the WYSIWYG pages like the Diver's Den on Dr. Foster's and Smith. They send out a weekly e-mail with new items and weekly specials. I know I spend a good half hour each week looking over the new stuff. I am sure it would be a lot of work but would be a great draw for your site.

Good idea Wohya!!!!!

I think that would be cool too but just for the extra nice peices that may seem a little pricy maybe??? Would be a little less work that way.

Very Nice! You may also want to list how many items can be shipped in one box. Nobody wants to pay $45.00 shipping for 1 $20.00 coral. I will keep checking back and when the $$ fairy visits again I will order.

looks good, it might be helpful to list the price in the description. that way for people with slow interenets they don't have to open up every link to see the price (i didn't look in the coral but it was that way with the fish and inverts)

thanks everyone I appreciate all the input. as for the wysiwyg that is definately going to be something that is coming!!!! and we will usually run a special for a month at a time. I think for the first month we are going to either do clams at a smoking price or superman montiporas not sure yet. we are also going to be putting together "package" deals like for nano's, softies, sps, lps, zoo's. The site will be changing literally daily with all the stuff I have to load.
but once again thank you guys for the input.

Very nice. Be sure to let me know when you are ready and I'll give you a plug on DFWMAS.

Of course, I'll want one of those 50 Superman Montis in exchange. LOL
