First post is the wall before cutting into it, then the cut, and the first tank on the stand(in the wash room). The second set includes the first tank on the stand before it cracked and the new MF 120 plumbed. I'll post the tank as of today and the crack that flooded the basement in just a sec...

Now, the next task is being as patient as possible and allowing the new system to cycle(as EVERYTHING died!!!), and to do the finish work around the face of the display tank.

Well, the tank is ready for some coral. All seems well and algae growth is phenominally low. I just got in a mixed load of a 100 snails and they're covering the job all too well. So... it's now time. My main theme will be tropical pacific reef. For those who offered some frags for pitty due to my crash, I'm ready for them. I want the reef to be mixed from SPS through softies. Just give me approximate shipping costs.

Thanks,
Jason

Here's a new pic of the 120 with a few fish... they're only damsels, but they're doing well and the algae growth is suprizingly low. I also now have snails and will up date with a few coral starts(green ric, frogspawn, candy, some polyps, a figi yellow leather, a small monti plate, and some tulips).

I'm interested in one of everything... LOL. How about pricing on everything you posted. BTW, Shane H and I had about sixes of everything at one time... his crashed to a complete loss the same weekend as mine. Greg had a look at my tank last summer.

Starting over sure does suck... same reason the 180g has only 400lbs of live rock and our tangs in it.. LOL Looks like your off to another great start J!

I thought Shane was taking his down for the move and going to have it drilled for overflows? Did he lose it all? I was there the day before he was going to take it down.

I will get you a price today.

Will

He and I took that tank down to be drilled and he set his stuff up in an unused 180 while he went to California on a family vacation. When he got back, it was a complete loss... except for a very large bristle worm. He lost EVERYTHING!!! That large leather is now just sand and everything else is just skeletons or gone.

True....I reworked my tank at home this weekend....changed out a CC to a utah sand...painted the back and cleaned behind it which had not been done in 5 years..lol...I think my wife was going to kill me some times because you could not see the floor thru all the cob webs....lol

Did you get my PM on prices?

Reptoreef
08-07-2007, 11:09 AM
I did... I'm devising a plan to negotiate a deal with the wife. Will you deal on a package pricing if I were to order 1 of each remaining?

slim
08-07-2007, 01:27 PM
I think so...I also have been watching #12 and I think I could do a frag. The mother colony was having some issues while back. It was at home and I moved it to my work tank and is doing great now.

My hammer was suffering at home along with everything else except GSP so that's why I made the change at home and things are looking much better in just a few day time.

Just to let you know I have to be at the airport in SLC at 5:00pm so I will have to be around your place between 3 and 4 maybe sooner if I am going to pick up a few things while I am there. I will need some snails and crabs for the home tank by then.

Aside from those frags I got from you(Will), I also have now picked up some Oregon Blue Tort, Pink Milli, Purple Milli, yellow slimer, Red Stag, and Pink Bird's Nest. I will post new pictures when I get a chance. Everything looks terrific and polyping very well. I am excited to see all of this grow out and mature! My next additions include: 2 Crocea Clams, a rose bubble tip anemone, 2 purple whips, and an elegance coral. Beginning Sept first, I'll be beginning to add a fish a month(first being a yellow tang).

Here's my most recent pic and as you can see, there's a maxijet in the back center of the tank... that was my weekend DIY project that is pretty darn cool. It's a maxi jet stream mod on an oscillating motor. I really want to share a couple of the videos I have of it, but don't know how to post them.

South??? There is a large one Noth of Salt Lake... It's called Bird World/Pet Village. Nice to hear from you. BTW, I'll be in need of a few fish, a couple of croceas, an elegance, a RBT anemone, and some other acans with in the next few months.

Not sure, i havnt uploaded any vids. I was meaning a link to how to build it. Is it the same format in "my documents" vs. the kodak program? My camera has its own software, but when i do pics its easier topull them from documents rather than HP photosmart or whatever it is. Just a thought.
