My g/f just brought back a lot of stuff from a LFS in FL. 1 of the hermits that I got is pretty big and he's black and orange striped.
Just curious if anyone knew what he was and what he eats?

After acclimation and putting him in the display, he immediately went to sifting through/eating out of the sandbed. Hope he's a go0dy!

dont have pics atm, can get some later if their needed.

ok, my colors were off
I was going by memory and it was wrong

he's actually red/orange striped. Like, striped bands around all his legs/claws. His eyes/eyestalks are red and the top of his body lo0ks to be white when he comes out of his shell

i'll get some pics as so0n as I figure out how to get go0d pics with the camera

I tried taking some all actinic shots last night, the ones with the flash lo0ked like the lights were on, you couldnt see actinic, and the ones without the flash were totally black.

I gotta do some reading and figure out the settings for the camera to take the best pics. Its a Nikon digital SLR, pretty pimp hardware, im sure the settings are just off for what im trying to do
