I was searching the internet and stumbled across this item called the Eco Aqualizer. Just wondering if anyone has this or has any information on it. The website makes it look really good and has lots of scientific research to back it up. Sounds like it could be very beneficial for our tanks. Let me know what you think of the product.

Do a google search on that product. It has been out for at least 5 years, and this subject has been covered by lots of people.

I know you'll even find a thread or two with the unit cut in half to show you what it is: A series of magnets with water flowing through the center. And there is no way that passing saltwater through a magnetic field will make the water better, imho.

I did a yahoo search, but couldn't find much info. I'll try google. It talks a big game, but most of the time if it's too good to be true........

After reading some forums from a google search, I think it's bogus. I think a sump and refugium are as good as it gets for water quality, so I'll stick to building that.

ive seen magnets you put on your fuel line in your car...sound like the same gimmick. magnetically align the particles to get better mpg...cleaner water...magnetic health bracelets...it goes on.
