Is anyone using one of these? I know it is smaller than the PhosBan Reactor but this will be going on a 55 as a hang on the back with phosban or carbon.

Looks very nice. =You could probley make one, but would it look as nice? And at 35 bucks don't think you would save much doing a DIY. I am going to pick one up myself and connect it to my vaccume :eek:

Pretty slick. I'd looked into making reactors and such from different materials, the easiest being constructed from filter containers for water purification systems (they were closer to $30 before adding any plumbing) This one I don't think could be built for the retail price even get the little 80gph power head, wish they'd post dimensions for it... Have any of you guys ordered and got one that you can post about?

basically I pulls a small amount of water from your system (80GH) which you can control. The large open area is set up so you can put a Media (Arm or anything you would like dosed) into this section then the water is returned to your system. At least that is what I think.

It is similar to a Phosban Reactor. You can use it to lower phophates (using Granular Ferric Oxide (GFO)), or improve water quality & color by filling it up with Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC), aka carbon.

I just ordered one from marinedepot. If I am using it to run phosban or carbon, should it be on constantly or just occasionally?? If just occasional, do you have to remove it drain it and refill it before using again? Or can you just unplug it and then plug it back in when ready to use?
