Well where do I start..... Me and Lyndee decided to buy a new house and in order to sell our existing house we have to take the tank out (not really a good feature for selling) Soooooo it will be a sad thing but with a happy ending cause with a new house means a new tank!!!! I am thinking about doing a 180 or a 210 gallon. I am keeping all the equipment so all I will have to buy is the tank and the stock!!!
And my good reefing buddy Brian (eldiente on the forum) is going to house some of my pieces that I dont want to part with. He actually might end up buying the tank for his new office that they are building (which would make a beautiful piece might I add) so it looks like the tank will be coming down probably this sunday and in the very near future we will be moving into a new house and then ANOTHER tank build.

well the tank came down saturday and went fairly smooth took about 4 hours to get completely out. I finished up the hole yesterday and turned it into a book case and put a closet back inside the bedroom/fish room. I really do miss not having a tank. Cant wait to start the new one. I will get some pics posted of where the tank used to be.

What a great idea to have the tank over the fireplace. Absolutely georgeous!
eldiente

I have always wanted one over the fireplace and so after researching it out, I put in an electric fireplace, I can turn it on without any heat coming out and there is no venting to get in the way of the fish tank.
Greg the wall looks very nicely done, not as nice as the tank, but you did well. Good luck on selling the house, I don't know of anyone looking to buy, but there was just a big article in the newspaper on the number of lookers/buyers going way up. Are you doing it yourself or do you have a realtor? Don't forget to come see the kiddos sometime! brian

There's a real big one that people base jump off of in Twin Falls if that's what you are asking. and its even legal to do so.

Very nice! Did you say your sump is in the basement?
graphixx
02-02-2008, 10:16 AM
yeah George, there is a HUGE bridge here. its the #1 destination for BASE jumping in the world right now. the highest unregulated bridge for jumping on earth. and we are gonig through prudential homes for a realator.

Yep the sump/refug is in the basement, helps keep the tank cool in the summer but also keeps it cool in the winter. But I have the sump at waist level and there is nothing really above it, so it makes it nice to access and do water changes and such. Here's a pic of the sump when I first set it up, It has two phosphate/carbon reactors now, different lights, a macroalgae area and a coral holding tank. Plus I have an aquacontroller running it all now. But it is really easy to mess with in this type of configuration.
